This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning through execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Oversee project financial performance, including cost control, change orders, progress billing, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
  • Work closely with Site Superintendents to ensure construction activities are progressing according to schedule and project specifications.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and other technical documentation.
  • Lead regular project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks, delays, and potential cost overruns.
  • Manage procurement activities, subcontractor tendering, contract negotiations, and material deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Ontario Building Code requirements, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, site instructions, and progress reports.
  • Manage project closeout, including deficiencies, commissioning, warranties, and final documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction project management, ideally with a General Contractor in Ontario.
  • Proven experience successfully delivering commercial, institutional, industrial, or multi-residential construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Familiarity with Ontario construction regulations, building codes, and health and safety requirements.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, including CCDC contract forms.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • PMP, Gold Seal Certification (GSC), or P.Eng. designation would be considered an asset.
What We're Looking For
  • A hands-on Project Manager with strong technical construction knowledge and commercial awareness.
  • Someone comfortable taking full ownership of project delivery, budgets, and schedules.
  • A strong communicator who can build relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can anticipate challenges and implement practical solutions.
  • A collaborative leader who works closely with Site Superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
  • Someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality construction projects.
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Opportunities for career progression within a growing construction company.
