Qualifications And Additional Information
Required subject qualifications:
Intermediate/Senior Technological Studies (Hospitality Services)
FTE: 1.0 Permanent
Grade(s)/assignment:
Daily operation of the Port Perry High School Student/Staff Cafeteria (September to June) through each semester’s, morning Hospitality and Tourism senior double credit courses. Includes purchasing and inventory. This position is also responsible for the experiential learning and practical management skills (culinary arts, hospitality operations, business and industry) of a) the corresponding courses as well as b) the leadership of the PPHS Hospitality and Tourism Specialist High Skills Major program and its applicable industry certifications.
Current community sector partner experience (SPE) is in-house catering for the school and community.

Split TFJ3C/TFJ4C
Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
Secondary Permanent Salary Range: $57,986 to $119,967/year (Placement on salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Salary will be pro-rated based on the position FTE).

First Consideration:
Teachers covered by the OSSTF Permanent Teachers’ Collective Agreement (1.0., 0.5, Article 10 teachers) who possess the required qualifications. (For clarity, an Article 10 teacher is a day school teacher at Durham Continuing Education who has signed a contract with the Board. They are considered Article 10 for the school year.)
Second Consideration:
Candidates from outside of the OSSTF permanent bargaining unit.

Additional Requirements
