Position: Permanent Teacher for Intermediate/Senior Grades
Location: Whitby

Become a vital part of the Durham District School Board as a Permanent Teacher for Intermediate/Senior subjects. Engage students in Math, Science, and Health & Physical Education across grades 9 to 12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging curriculum-aligned lessons for all subjects

• Assess and monitor student progress effectively

• Foster an inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners

• Collaborate with parents and community stakeholders

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Requirements:

• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing

• Qualifications in Intermediate/Senior Math and Science

• Experience teaching Health and Physical Education

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom

• Provide a current Criminal Background Check
