Position: Social Science Humanities Teacher at All Saints CSS
Location: Whitby

All Saints CSS is hiring a Secondary Teacher for Social Science, Humanities, and English effective September 2, 2026. This permanent, full-time position promotes an inclusive educational approach in the classroom.

The ideal candidate will hold a current certification from the Ontario College of Teachers and possess Intermediate/Senior qualifications. As a teacher, you will instruct courses such as HPW3C1 and ENL1W1, while embedding First Nations, Metis, and Inuit perspectives into education, propagating equity and inclusion within learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide students through HPW3C1, ENL1W1, and NDW4M curriculum

• Foster an inclusive atmosphere for varied learners

• Evaluate and monitor student learning outcomes

• Promote critical thinking around social justice topics

• Work collaboratively with staff to design educational strategies

Requirements:

• Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers

• Intermediate/Senior qualifications in applicable subjects

• Teachable(s) for the course subjects

• Commitment to enhancing diversity in education

• Experience addressing diverse learning needs
