Position: Strings Teacher for Violin Lessons

Join Long & McQuade as a Strings Teacher focusing on violin lessons in Bowmanville, ON. This contract role offers flexibility on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

In this independent contractor position, you'll provide engaging violin lessons to students of various skill levels. With your previous teaching experience and understanding of effective lesson curriculum, you will make a positive impact on your students’ musical journeys. Candidates should have a music degree or equivalent qualifications to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver violin lessons to individual and group students

• Create effective lesson plans utilizing standard teaching methods

• Encourage student participation and progress in music

• Support and assess student development regularly

• Manage lesson schedules efficiently

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from an accredited institution

• At least Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Practical teaching experience with a variety of age groups

• Familiarity with lesson curriculum and teaching strategies

• Professional equivalency may also be considered
