The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) is seeking a dynamic individual for a Long Term Occasional history assignment for one section. Located at John F Ross CVI, this position requires a strong commitment to student achievement and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide continuous educational support during the teacher's absence
• Follow Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies
• Collaborate with students to foster engagement in history
• Maintain classroom management effectively during the assignment
• Support student well-being in accordance with Board guidelines
Requirements:
• Hold an Intermediate History qualification
• Experience in a secondary teaching environment
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
