Position: Kindergarten Assistant Teacher – Afternoons
Join Trillium Waldorf School as a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher for afternoons in Guelph, Ontario, helping to guide kindergarten aged children in a dynamic and creative learning environment.

This position offers a contract from August 24, 2026, to June 18, 2027, focusing on enriching the afternoon program and After School Care.

Your role involves supporting the lead teacher, running classrooms, and engaging with parents and children alike. A commitment to Waldorf principles and a love for child development are vital for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of the kindergarten afternoon program

• Partner with the lead teacher and class staff

• Attend weekly teacher meetings and event nights

• Maintain cleanliness within the classroom

• Manage After School Care budget and supplies

Requirements:

• Waldorf Teacher Education certification preferred

• At least two years teaching experience

• Strong communication skills with community focus

• Effective conflict resolution skills

• Current CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Check
