Become a vital part of College Heights Secondary School as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher in Visual Arts. This position upholds high educational standards while enhancing student well-being and achievement.
Effective from September 2, 2026, to February 2, 2027, you will fill in for the regular teacher, ensuring continuous learning in the arts. Your expertise will help cultivate a supportive learning environment that aligns with the Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality instruction in Visual Arts
• Support and monitor student progress and well-being
• Adhere to Board policies and educational standards
• Work closely with the Principal and teaching staff
• Adapt lesson plans to support varied learning styles
Requirements:
• Senior Visual Arts certification required
• Experience in teaching aligned with QECO rating
• Understanding of Ontario education standards
• Provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Commitment to fostering inclusive classroom environments
