Location: Whitby
Join St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School in Ontario as a 1.0 FTE Grade 3/4 Teacher starting September 2, 2026. This long-term occasional role supports diverse learning until January 7, 2027.
The position requires maintaining certification with the Ontario College of Teachers and holds primary/junior basic qualifications. You will be stepping into a temporary role pending the classroom teacher’s return. Your salary placement will reflect your experience and QECO evaluation category.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans for Grade 3/4
• Create an inclusive atmosphere for all students
• Monitor student performance and provide feedback
• Work closely with colleagues to enhance learning
• Adhere to all DCDSB guidelines and policies
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario College of Teachers certification
• Primary/Junior Basic Qualifications required
• Familiarity with inclusive educational practices
• Previous experience with primary grade students
• Full commitment to the duration of the role
