Enhance student learning in I/S English and Indigenous Studies for grades 9-12. This part-time role focuses on crafting engaging lessons and creating an inclusive classroom.
We are seeking a qualified educator to teach I/S English and Indigenous Studies at the secondary level. Your responsibilities will include adapting materials for diverse learning needs and providing constructive feedback to students. A positive classroom environment, collaboration with colleagues, parents, and community members will be essential for student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with parents and community for better learning
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
Requirements:
• I/S English + Indigenous Studies qualifications
• Ontario teaching certificate in good standing
• Part-time role at 0.5 FTE for grades 9-12
• Ability to undergo a criminal background check
