Position: Secondary Long-Term Occasional Teacher Position
Location: Cannington

Become a catalyst for learning as a Secondary Long-Term Occasional Teacher with the Durham District School Board. This position involves creating an inclusive atmosphere and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons for grades 9 to 12.

In the LTO role, you'll leverage your qualifications in Special Education and General Science to inspire secondary students. You'll monitor progress, give meaningful feedback, and collaborate actively with parents and colleagues to ensure student success. Your adaptability and commitment to inclusivity will make a significant difference in the classroom.

Requirements:

• OCT certification in good standing required

• Subject qualifications:
Special Education, General Science

• Full-time commitment for Semester One (FTE 1.0)

• Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening

• Experience teaching high school students (grades 9-12)
