Position: PGR Operations Manager - 16382
Location: uxbridge

We are currently seeking an experienced and collaborative PGR Operations Manager to lead the operational support and enhancement of services for our thriving postgraduate research (PGR) community. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in shaping an outstanding doctoral researcher experience within a research-intensive university environment. Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues across the institution, you will help ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive, and supportive provision for doctoral researchers, aligned to sector expectations, external funding requirements and the University’s strategic ambitions for research culture and environment.

Brunel University of London was established in 1966 and is a leading multidisciplinary research-intensive technology university delivering economic, social and cultural benefits.

The PGR support team sits within the award‑winning Student Professional Development Centre, a professional services department dedicated to empowering students and graduates to achieve successful career outcomes.

You will work closely with the PVC Research, Vice Deans for Research, academic PGR leads and external partners to support excellent PGR provision, maintain compliance with UKRI and doctoral training partnership requirements, and contribute to a positive and engaging doctoral research environment.

The role involves managing a small, dedicated PGR team within Student Professional Development.
