Become a Long-Term Occasional Teacher at Durham District School Board, focusing on Intermediate/Senior English and Visual Art. Inspire students by creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that promotes growth.
In this LTO role, you'll have the opportunity to guide students through engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Assess student progress and provide valuable feedback
• Cultivate an inclusive classroom environment
• Work with colleagues and parents to support students
• Modify teaching to accommodate various learning styles
Requirements:
• Required subject qualifications: I/S English, I Visual Art & Other
• Valid Ontario teaching certificate (OCT)
• Must submit a Criminal Background Check for vulnerable sectors
• Embrace equitable teaching practices
