Location: Whitby
Join St. Matthew the Evangelist CS as a 1.0 FTE LTO teacher for Grade JK/SK from September 2, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Make a difference in early childhood education.
This LTO teacher role requires certification from the Ontario College of Teachers and Junior Basic Qualifications. Candidates will create an engaging, inclusive environment for young students, addressing their diverse needs while encouraging positive development and growth during the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement engaging educational activities for students
• Promote inclusivity and a positive atmosphere in the classroom
• Assess and monitor student learning and development
• Collaborate with colleagues for enhanced educational experiences
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress
Requirements:
• Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Junior Basic Qualifications required
• Commitment to a diverse learning environment
• Experience in early childhood or primary education
• Adaptable approach to teaching and learning environments
