DCDSB is seeking a Secondary English and First Nations, Metis & Inuit Studies Teacher for a full-time, long-term assignment. This position offers a chance to inspire students while teaching vital courses in an engaged learning environment.
This 1.0 FTE role will commence on September 2, 2026, through June 30, 2027, at the designated location. You must hold a valid certification from the Ontario College of Teachers and intermediate/senior basic qualifications to teach the provided course codes: ENG4U, ENG4C, and NBE3C. The position is a temporary vacancy and supports an inclusive community within DCDSB.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver English and Indigenous studies curriculum effectively
• Engage students in culturally relevant learning activities
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning strategies
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment for all students
Requirements:
