Position: Temporary Grade 6/7 LTO Teacher Needed
Location: Uxbridge

DCDSB is hiring a full-time LTO Teacher for Grades 6/7 eph Uxbridge CS, effective September 2, 2026. The role extends to June 30, 2027, subject to change.

This position requires candidates to be certified in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and possess Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications. You will play a crucial role in continuing quality education amid a temporary vacancy, with compensation based on the salary grid according to the collective agreement and your experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement curricula for Grade 6 and 7 students

• Support an inclusive environment for all learners

• Assess and document student outcomes consistently

• Collaborate effectively with other teachers and staff

• Involve yourself in ongoing learning and development

Requirements:

• Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers in good standing

• Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications essential

• Experience with upper grade teaching preferred

• Dedication to equity and inclusivity in education

• Ability to meet a variety of educational needs
