As a key ambassador for OSCIA, you'll facilitate workshops, promote cost-share initiatives, and ensure effective outreach. Your expertise will enhance programming, while actively participating in community events. This position requires strong agricultural knowledge and effective communication skills to foster collaborative relationships with farmers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate virtual workshops and manage session logistics
• Promote OSCIA programs at events and with stakeholders
• Conduct virtual inspections and provide detailed feedback
• Collaborate with Technical Advisors for optimal workshop delivery
• Address farmers' inquiries on cost-share applications
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in agriculture or related discipline
• Experience facilitating workshops targeting adult audiences
• Strong understanding of Ontario agricultural practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license required
