Position: Primary LTO Teacher Role at DDSB

Shape young minds as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher for Grades 1/2 iver captivating lessons while supporting students' academic and personal growth in a nurturing environment.

This LTO role focuses on creating and implementing lessons that are engaging and tailored to the needs of each student. You will be assessing students' progress and providing constructive feedback in a positive and inclusive classroom setting. The position involves collaboration with teachers, parents, and the community to enhance the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create vibrant and engaging lessons for students

• Assess student progress with timely feedback

• Cultivate an inclusive atmosphere in the classroom

• Work with colleagues and community to support students

• Modify teaching strategies for diverse learners

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Teaching Certificate (OCT)

• Expertise in Primary subject area

• Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening

• Dedicated to equity and inclusion in education

• FTE: 1.0 within salary range based on experience
