Preschool Instructors

Position: Enthusiastic Preschool Instructors Needed
Location: Clarington

The Community Services Division is seeking enthusiastic Preschool Instructors for seasonal recreation programs beginning September 2026. Lead daily activities and ensure a safe environment for young children.

This role requires strong leadership and interaction skills as you supervise preschool-age participants while implementing engaging lesson plans. You will contribute to a team that values safety and enjoyment in learning. If you possess a degree in Early Childhood Education and have experience working with children aged 0 to 6, this role may be perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and daily preschool activities

• Supervise and interact with participants

• Ensure participant safety at all times

• Maintain accurate attendance records

• Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers

Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education

• Minimum of two years' experience with preschool-age children

• Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

• Standard First Aid and CPR certification preferred

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
