As an instructor, you’ll plan, organize, and supervise advanced arts programs for children, youth, and adults. This role focuses on developing lesson plans tailored to group abilities, instructing participants, and evaluating their progress. You'll also be responsible for safety checks, participant records, and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop lesson plans based on participants' abilities
• Instruct and guide through specific art skills
• Evaluate participant progress throughout the program
• Enforce city policies regarding program conduct
• Maintain and organize program equipment and supplies
Requirements:
• Enrolled or completed degree in visual arts or related field
• Seven years’ experience in related discipline
• Three years’ instructing experience required
• Current First Aid/CPR qualifications
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
