Core French Teacher LTO

St. Joseph Catholic School in Oshawa is seeking a .17 FTE LTO Core French Teacher for the  academic year. Shape young minds in an inclusive environment while fostering language skills.

The Durham Catholic District School Board seeks a qualified teacher to contribute to the academic success of diverse students. This position requires certification from the Ontario College of Teachers, as well as Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications and Part 1 of French as a Second Language. Ideal candidates will be committed to fostering an equitable and supportive learning space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Core French language curriculum to students

• Adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs

• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom culture

• Collaborate with staff to enhance language programming

• Assess and report on student progress effectively

Requirements:

• Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers

• Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications required

• Completion of French as a Second Language, Part 1

• Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion

• Availability for the full teaching term
