The Durham Catholic District School Board is looking for a part-time teacher to support Core French education from September 2, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Applicants must possess valid Ontario College of Teachers certification, including qualifications for teaching at junior/intermediate levels and expertise in French as a Second Language. This position emphasizes creating an equitable and supportive environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in Core French language skills

• Develop creative lesson plans and assessments

• Monitor student learning and provide feedback

• Maintain an inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Work collaboratively with staff to enhance student learning

Requirements:

• Certification in good standing from Ontario College of Teachers

• Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications preferred

• French as a Second Language, Part 1 course completion

• Passion for inclusive and equitable education

• Capability to motivate and support diverse learners
