LTO Grade 5​/6 Teacher

Teach Grade 5/6 eph Catholic School in Oshawa as a Long-Term Occasional teacher starting September 2, 2026. This role entails engaging students while fostering an inclusive environment.

The position requires a full-time commitment from September 2, 2026, until June 30, 2027, or until the return of the incumbent teacher. Qualified candidates must possess certification from the Ontario College of Teachers along with Junior and Intermediate Basic Qualifications. This role emphasizes the importance of equity and inclusion, contributing positively to the diverse community served.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging lesson plans for Grade 5/6 students

• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Assess and evaluate student performance effectively

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians

• Collaborate with staff to implement educational strategies
