As an LTO for DDSB, you will create an engaging and supportive educational experience for secondary students. This role emphasizes developing dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, assessing student progress, and fostering inclusivity within the classroom. Your collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the community will enhance student achievement and promote a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum

• Monitor and assess student progress with constructive feedback

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with staff and community for student support

• Adapt teaching methods to address diverse student needs

Requirements:

• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing

• Subject qualifications in English, Special Education an asset

• Commitment to equity and inclusive practices

• Current Criminal Background Check required

• Experience in diverse classroom settings preferred
