Part-Time French Curriculum Teacher Role

St. Christopher Catholic School seeks a part-time French Immersion Curriculum Coverage Teacher for an impactful teaching journey. Engage with students in fostering a love for learning.

This 0.6 FTE temporary role will be active from September 2, 2026, to June 30, 2027, within the Durham Catholic District School Board framework. Applicants must hold an active certification from the Ontario College of Teachers as well as Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate qualifications. This role supports the Board's dedication to providing equitable learning experiences for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the French Immersion curriculum

• Monitor and promote student engagement

• Collaborate with fellow teachers for enriched learning

• Attend professional development workshops

• Create a respectful classroom climate embracing diversity

Requirements:

• Certified with the Ontario College of Teachers

• Completed Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate qualifications

• Experience required for salary evaluation
