As a Sessional Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, you will engage undergraduate students at Ontario Tech University. The role requires delivering content that resonates with inclusivity and using technology to enhance learning experiences. Key Responsibilities:
• Create and conduct POSC 2000U classes in-person and online
• Apply innovative teaching techniques tailored to diverse learners
• Oversee grading and assignment management
• Offer student support and guidance throughout the course
• Mentor and lead Teaching Assistants where necessary
Requirements:
• PhD in Political Science or a related area
• Experience in undergraduate teaching, especially in Canadian Politics
• Familiarity with online learning management systems
• Strong commitment to inclusive education
• Excellent time management skills for course administration
