Position: In-Person Lecturer MATH 1010U – Calculus I
Become a pivotal instructor for MATH 1010U – Calculus I at Ontario Tech University. This limited-term lecturer role starts Fall 2026 and involves in-person classes.

You'll be responsible for guiding students through essential calculus concepts in live lectures. Key tasks include preparing materials, developing assessments, and actively managing the course through a technology-oriented approach. Collaboration with faculty and student support will be essential in enriching student experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic in-person lectures every week

• Design and evaluate assessments including exams

• Administer the Canvas LMS for student engagement

• Provide personalized consultation for students

• Collaborate with faculty on course content and structure

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics

• Evidence of strong teaching ability in higher education

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Familiarity with technology-enhanced learning techniques

• Experience teaching mathematics courses preferred
