Inspire students as a French Long-Term Occasional Teacher at the Durham District School Board. Foster a thriving learning environment for Core 4-8 students while promoting inclusivity and engagement.
As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) for DDSB, your role is pivotal in guiding students on their educational journeys. You'll be responsible for developing engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and assessing student progress. Collaboration with colleagues and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs will be essential in creating a positive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lessons
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with parents and the community
• Adapt teaching methods for diverse student needs
Requirements:
• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
• FSL qualifications and successful completion of written competency test
• Core subject qualifications for grades 4-8
• Current Criminal Background Check required
• Committed to equity and inclusion principles
