FTE role seeks an innovative educator to enhance student achievement in Guelph.
Join the UGDSB's elementary teaching team as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher. You will focus on delivering high-quality education during the absence of the regular teacher while ensuring alignment with Ontario Ministry of Education standards. Essential qualifications include FSL Part 1 and a passion for fostering student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver continuous, high-quality education to students
• Support student achievement and well-being initiatives
• Collaborate with school staff to align with Board Policies
• Provide an effective learning environment for all students
• Maintain communication with parents and guardians
Requirements:
• Valid FSL Part 1 qualification
• Experience in a teaching role preferred
• Minimum two professional supervisory references
• Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive education
