Shape future engineers as a Math Lecturer for MATH
1850U at Ontario Tech University, starting Fall 2026. Deliver dynamic in-person lectures focused on linear algebra.
The role is designed for those who thrive on teaching and demonstrating real-world applications of mathematical concepts. With a focus on student interaction, you will prepare course materials, utilize education technology, and guide evaluations, while reporting directly to university officials concerning course outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-person lectures every Wednesday and Friday
• Develop course assessments like quizzes and exams
• Organize and manage student materials on Canvas LMS
• Offer academic consultations to enhance learning
• Submit grades and communicate feedback effectively
Requirements:
• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a related field
• Expertise in presenting undergraduate mathematics
• Strong organizational abilities and clear communication
• Familiarity with teaching software and methods
• Teaching experience preferred, especially in mathematics
