As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher at DDSB, you will develop engaging curriculum-driven lessons and assess student progress effectively. Your dedication to creating an inclusive classroom will ensure a supportive environment where every student feels empowered and valued through collaborative efforts with colleagues and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create lesson plans aligned with educational standards
• Monitor and assess students’ academic progress
• Enhance classroom inclusivity and student engagement
• Work collaboratively with parents and fellow educators
• Modify teaching approaches to fit student needs
Requirements:
• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
• Relevant subject qualifications: I/S Science and another subject
• Teaching experience for grades 9-11
• Current Criminal Background Check needed
• Adhere to equity and inclusion practices
