Teach high school students in Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, and other international languages with Durham Catholic District School Board. Positions for the 2026-27 school year require intermediate/senior qualifications.
The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking qualified educators for International Language Credit Teacher positions, slated to run from October 2026 to May 2027. In-person classes will be offered at various locations, including Ajax and Whitby, catering to Grades 9 through 12. Candidates with a valid teaching certificate and relevant qualifications will lead these courses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons in international languages
• Adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff
• Ensure a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Certificate of Qualification in good standing
• Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications
• Relevant Additional Qualifications for subject areas
• Prioritize consideration for DCDSB secondary teachers
• Experience in teaching language courses preferred
