Location: Whitby
Step into the role of Lunchroom Supervisor at the Durham District School Board, focusing on the safety and engagement of students during lunch hours. This position offers part-time work from September to June.
Reporting directly to the Principal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring lunchroom safety and cleanliness. This role requires working closely with students, providing support and resolving any issues that arise during lunch. The role is suited for individuals dedicated to working in varied school contexts and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee students during lunchtime activities
• Assist in setting up and taking down lunchroom setups
• Ensure lunch refuse is disposed of properly
• Address any disciplinary matters following guidelines
• Conduct additional tasks as assigned by the Principal
Requirements:
• Experience working with children in educational settings
• Strong ability to communicate with diverse groups
• Teamwork skills and flexibility
• A minimum age of 16 and legal work eligibility
