Part‑time Elementary French & English Teacher/Tutor

Employment type:

Part‑time. Pay: $17.20–$18.00 per hour.

Location:

In‑person, Brooklin, Ontario. Commuting required; no relocation packages.

• Teach up to three students simultaneously at various levels.
• Conduct lessons in both online and in‑person settings.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Complete post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (or fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience).
• Teaching certification is an asset but not required.
• Good knowledge of the Kindergarten‑to‑Grade‑8 curriculum.
• Some experience teaching or tutoring at Kindergarten‑to‑Grade‑8 (or equivalent) level.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage up to three students simultaneously.

• After‑school and evening hours: at least two evenings per week (Mon/Wed or Tue/Th 3:30‑7:00 pm).
• Saturday mornings: 9:00‑12:00 pm.
• Commitment until the end of the term in June; summer continuation preferred.

Pay: $17.20–$18.00 per hour.

Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory. Applicants must reside in or within a short commute of the Brooklin area.
