Join the Durham Catholic District School Board as a Core French teacher at Sir Albert Love C.S. This full-time long-term position starts November 11, 2026, and focuses on Grade Core French instruction.
This role requires a 1.0 FTE Core French LTO teacher to engage junior and intermediate students effectively. Candidates should have a valid Ontario College of Teachers certification, a Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualification, and Part 1 certification in French as a Second Language. You will play a key role in fostering an inclusive and equitable educational environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Core French to junior and intermediate students
• Create engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment for diverse learners
• Collaborate with staff to enhance instructional strategies
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
Requirements:
• Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualification required
• French as a Second Language, Part 1 certification
• Commitment to inclusive education practices
• Availability to teach from November 2026 to February 2027
