Your Role

As a Structural Design Engineer with a valid P.Eng and BCIN, you will play a key role in product development, structural analysis, and building code compliance. You’ll help ensure the safety, durability, and performance of our sunrooms and modular enclosure systems while contributing to exciting new product advancements.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, and engineering reports.
  • Provide P.Eng‑sealed drawings and certifications for residential and commercial projects.
  • Perform structural analysis on aluminum, steel, and hybrid modular components.
  • Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code, National Building Code, and municipal requirements.
  • Complete BCIN submissions, documentation, and technical reviews.
  • Work closely with design, production, and installation teams to resolve engineering and field challenges.
  • Contribute to product improvement and new product development initiatives.
  • Communicate technical requirements to customers, contractors, and building officials.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Valid BCIN (House, Small Buildings, or Structural Specialty preferred).
  • 3–5+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction and building code requirements.
  • Proficiency with structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD, RISA, or comparable software).
  • Experience with aluminum or modular construction (asset).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
