Position: STP Operator for Nuclear Project
Location: Clarington

Take on the role of STP Operator with Aecon at the new Darlington Nuclear Project in Clarington, Ontario. Ensure effective separation and treatment of wastewater generated during construction activities.

In this position, your expertise will help monitor and operate the Separation & Treatment Plant while ensuring compliance with environmental standards. You will adjust and control plant operations, focusing on the efficiency of separation processes. Strong adherence to health and safety protocols and effective reporting are key aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor treatment units for wastewater

• Control the flow of water to optimize operations

• Capture and log routine water quality samples

• Ensure compliance with environmental waste management

• Report to the Supervisor on daily operations

Requirements:

• Experience in wastewater treatment or similar operations

• Knowledge of HSE standards and practices

• Familiarity with chemical safety and environmental compliance

• Strong analytical skills for monitoring performance

• Team collaboration to support project goals
