Meter Data Operator

Join Oshawa Power Group as a Meter Data Operator, focusing on data management and analysis in a dynamic utility environment. Support essential departmental processes for reliable electricity delivery.

This role directly reports to the Metering and Operational Data Manager. You will be primarily responsible for clerical tasks, data entry, analysis, and procedural support related to various meter data management systems. Successful applicants should have a solid background in the electrical utility sector, particularly with metering applications and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate MV90, MDM/R, and AMI systems

• Process and validate metering data efficiently

• Liaise with IESO for data file transfers

• Coordinate meter replacements as necessary

• Support AMI 2.0 implementation and maintenance

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in electrical utility metering

• Post-secondary education in Electrical or Computer Technology

• Familiarity with metering applications and technologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Valid Class G license with a clean abstract
