GEMTEC is seeking an Intermediate-level Geotechnical Engineer for its Clarington division. You'll work on a variety of projects in land development, municipal, and defense sectors, assisting in geotechnical analysis, report writing, and field inspections. Your responsibilities will also include managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff, ensuring a supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with geotechnical project proposals and analyses
• Prepare lab and field reports efficiently
• Conduct field inspections and perform geotechnical engineering analysis
• Mentor junior laboratory and field staff as needed
• Manage client consultations and project development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years geotechnical engineering experience
• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with geotechnical software applications
