Lead digital modelling initiatives as an Experienced Civil Modelling Specialist with Ledcor in Oshawa, ON. Utilize your Civil 3D expertise to streamline heavy civil and mining project delivery.
As part of the Integrated Digital Services team, you will apply your 10+ years of civil infrastructure modelling experience to create robust 3D models and construction documents.
Your role will involve significant collaboration with engineers and construction personnel, focusing on accuracy and quality in model development, quantity take-offs, and project coordination. Communication and problem-solving skills are vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed 3D models for infrastructure projects
• Produce delivery-ready construction drawings from models
• Execute model-based quantity take-offs and cost analysis
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure accuracy
• Assist in resolving modelling discrepancies
Requirements:
• 10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure modelling
• Strong Civil 3D proficiency;
Navisworks knowledge is an asset
• Relevant educational background in civil engineering or surveying
• Familiarity with BIM practices and automation tools
• Strong organizational and planning skills
