Junior Project Manager for Hybrid EPC Projects

Location: Bowmanville
Lead EPC projects from start to finish in a hybrid work model. Focus on project oversight, risk management, and effective vendor communication to ensure successful outcomes.
As a Junior Project Manager, you will manage installation and commissioning efforts within the Nuclear industry.
Your role involves liaising with clients and vendors, tracking budgets, and overseeing project performance against schedule and safety standards. You will also develop risk mitigation plans and business case summaries to facilitate project funding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage EPC project lifecycle from initiation to closeout
• Review invoices and track budgets effectively
• Provide oversight to EPC vendors ensuring compliance
• Develop monthly project forecasts and risk registers
• Write detailed workplans for installation and commissioning
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of project management experience
• Familiarity with Nuclear industry practices
• Knowledge of change control processes (ECC)
• Experience in project engineering and risk management
