As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will guide critical projects across Canada, leveraging a wealth of knowledge in electrical systems design. With a focus on mining and heavy industries, your senior-level expertise will shape regulations and enhance safety protocols. This position calls for collaboration and mentorship to nurture future engineering talent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage design of electrical power systems for industrial use
• Conduct comprehensive power system studies and analyses
• Develop specifications for switch gear and transformers
• Oversee compliance with regulations and safety standards
• Foster relationships with clients and provide expert guidance
Requirements:
• 18+ years of electrical engineering experience in heavy industry
• P.Eng. in Ontario, additional jurisdictions valued
• Expertise in CSA, ANSI, and IEEE standards
• Proficient in power system modelling software
• Valid driver's license for site evaluations
