Join CIMA+'s mission as an Intermediate Structural Engineer, working from our Mississauga office. Focus on leading structural design projects within various sectors, ensuring quality and innovation.
In this full-time role, you will utilize your experience to guide projects from initial design to construction. Collaborate with a team passionate about sustainable development and make a significant impact in sectors including commercial and institutional buildings. Shape structures that stand the test of time while managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the structural design for diverse building types
• Create precise technical drawings and specifications
• Assess the condition of existing buildings and infrastructure
• Manage projects with a focus on teamwork and compliance
• Ensure quality assurance throughout all phases of design
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• At least 8 years of structural engineering experience
• Membership as a Professional Engineer Ontario (PEO)
• Strong command of the Ontario Building Code
• Experience with structural analysis tools
