Take on the challenging role of STP Operator with Aecon, dedicated to the Darlington New Nuclear Project located in Clarington, Ontario. This position ensures efficient wastewater separation and plant monitoring.
As an STP Operator, you will oversee the Separation & Treatment Plant’s operations, ensuring safe and compliant processes are followed for effective wastewater treatment. Your skills will directly impact the project's environmental performance and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control treatment units and equipment
• Adjust flow rates and manage plant throughput
• Sample water quality and maintain logs
• Coordinate waste management and sludge handling
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in wastewater treatment operations
• Knowledge of compliance and environmental standards
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and proper chemical handling practices
