Senior Test Leader for Signalling Systems

Location: Whitby

Take on a strategic role at Alstom in Whitby, Ontario, as a Senior Test Leader focused on ensuring compliance with signalling standards. This position requires expertise in coordinating comprehensive testing and commissioning activities.

You will lead the testing and commissioning process within engineering projects, ensuring compliance with both Metrolinx and AREMA standards.

Your role involves developing procedures based on subsystem specifications and providing technical leadership, helping your team navigate challenges effectively. Clear communication and organizational skills are essential to coordinate with various teams and ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and allocate resources for T&C activities

• Develop and implement T&C procedures

• Ensure signalling system compliance with contractual standards

• Interface with Engineering and V&V teams to optimize testing

• Report ongoing progress and issues to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or relevant field

• At least 3 years in railway test environments

• Proven leadership experience over 1 year

• Familiarity with Metrolinx and AREMA regulations

• An active driving license is mandatory
