As the Environmental Manager, you will oversee compliance with environmental laws and regulations across federal and provincial levels. This pivotal role involves obtaining necessary permits, monitoring wastewater, managing air emissions, and coordinating with environmental agencies on compliance issues. Your expertise will facilitate strategic environmental initiatives that promote sustainability and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans

• Organize and lead the environmental team on-site

• Obtain necessary permits and manage compliance activities

• Coordinate with community on environmental concerns

• Monitor and report environmental performance metrics

Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering, Science, or Environmental

• Five years of related experience, three years in a managerial role

• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 certification standards

• Excellent communication skills with regulatory bodies

• Ability to manage budgets for environmental activities
