Tatham Engineering seeks a skilled Technologist to join its municipal division in Guelph, focusing on land development and infrastructure projects. Utilize your design expertise in a collaborative environment.
As a mid-senior level Technologist, you will bring over 5 years of relevant engineering experience to contribute to projects requiring strong analytical and technical skills.
Your role will involve crafting designs for residential and industrial subdivisions while managing field data collection and project specifications. Active guidance of junior staff is crucial to foster their growth and project understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field data collection for engineering projects
• Prepare and manage designs in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Create specifications and offer cost estimates
• Coordinate with external agencies and secure project approvals
• Perform construction inspections and contract administration
Requirements:
• Engineering Technology degree (3 years)
• At least 5 years in engineering consulting
• C.E.T. designation through OACETT
• Strong relevant design and communication skills
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
