Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering & Operations, you'll oversee the planning, design, and approval processes for systems including SCADA and automation. Your leadership will guide a skilled team to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Emphasizing continuous improvement, this role requires a grasp of emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engineering design standards and maintain documentation
• Lead team-focused engineering processes and monitor performance
• Ensure compliance with Ontario Regulation 22/04
• Manage departmental budgets and financial plans
• Oversee infrastructure planning and asset management strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Minimum 10 years of electrical utility experience
• Strong knowledge of distribution systems and regulatory requirements
• Leadership experience with project delivery and initiatives
