Elevate worship experiences at All Saints Anglican Church in Whitby as a part-time Music Director. Shape the musical life of the parish through innovative programming and choir leadership.

This 14-hour per week position involves leading a diverse music ministry rooted in Anglican tradition. You’ll provide organ and piano accompaniment for regular and special services, including weddings and funerals.

Your role is vital as you recruit, train, and evaluate choir members for both contemporary and traditional services, all while maintaining a deep connection with the congregation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and direct music ministry reflecting congregational needs

• Provide organ and piano accompaniment for events

• Recruit and mentor choir members and musicians

• Choose hymns and anthems collaboratively

• Manage music library and submit usage reports

Requirements:

• Degree in music theory or performance or related diploma

• Proven church organist skills required

• Formal choral direction training preferred

• Proficiency in playing other instruments an asset

• Strong collaborative skills for effective teamwork
