We are looking for a results-driven Laboratory Technician who embodies Oak Valley Health’s core values of respect and commitment to patient care. This role focuses on performing blood collections, maintaining instruments, and collaborating with our Laboratory Services Team to ensure effective handling of specimens in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute venipuncture and blood collection procedures

• Manage and process various specimens accurately

• Conduct routine maintenance on laboratory equipment

• Participate in ECGs and support testing procedures

• Engage with healthcare colleagues for optimal patient care

Requirements:

• Must complete a recognized laboratory assistant program

• Current MLPAO Certification essential

• Relevant hospital experience is preferred

• Excellent phlebotomy skills required

• Strong knowledge of specimen collection standards
